My name is Mat, I’m just a simple guy that loves wood things, and prefers working with salvaged material saved from the burn pile or the wood chipper. I’ve been turning since sometime around the end of 2016, and although I enjoy making all types of turned objects, I tend to make mostly bowls of all different sizes. My goal is to work as environmentally green as possible, so most of my process involves utilizing sustainable and recyclable products. I’m based in Newberg, OR, just outside of the Portland area.
